Zuzana: Music is Life

This film tells the triumphant story of Zuzana Ruzickova and how she became a world-famous harpsichordist and interpreter of Bach under the Communist regine in Czechoslovakia after surviving three concentration camps during her teenage years.

Ullmann's compositions are performed by members of Royal Northern Sinfonia.

The brilliant Israeli “Aviv Quartet” will be making its debut in Newcastle. This Quartet is the winner of the Grand Prix at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, 1st Prize at the Charles Hennen Competition and various other prizes at the Schubert Competition, Bordeaux String.
